Our campaign is built on the voices of our community. We want to better understand the needs and concerns of commuters who depend on mass transit in their everyday lives. After a string of arrests for crimes of poverty, including turnstile jumping and selling churros, we wanted to understand how New Yorkers feel about the increase in police presence at subway stations. Join us this Saturday to survey our neighbors and see if spending $250 million on criminalizing their neighbors is the best use of public funds.
